Mother's Day 2009

Mother's Day 2009

Sorry we have been gone for nearly 6 months!  Man the time flies.  Really I’ve been avoiding blogging because I was feeling overwhelmed about catching up , but I’m just going to start again, right where we are, and move on.

I promise to put up some more pics this weekend, esp. some of my favs from our Memorial Day weekend in Charleston.  So look for those soon.

Go Noles!

Go Noles!

The Noles vs. Gator game was a wet, sad loss.  The plus side is that we got to tailgate at an awesome spot (thanks to the Kasper group), hang out with some friends and family, and eat some yummy food.  While the rest of the family soaked it out in the monsoon, Cooper and mommy went back home and cuddled in our jammies.  Maybe next year…

Big Boss

Big Boss

Here’s a quick re-cap of our Thanksgiving trip.  Chris caught this big hog at Lake Harris while mommy and Coop went to Target.  He was incredibly excited and I only wished Coop hadn’t just fallen asleep, cause he would have loved it too!

So we had a quick and fun trip for Thanksgiving.  I think Cooper ate his weight in mashed potatoes. He also really loved Martini, but between the terror and vomiting, she was happy being left alone instead.

Ready for Winter

Sorry we haven’t posted in a while, the cold weather has Coop feeling ugg again.  Not much to report on except that if anyone knows how to get Doak to stop eating Coopers socks, PLEASE let us know.  No joke he has eaten at least 10 at this point!  NASTY!

Dinner at Seaside

Dinner at Seaside

We were lucky enough to spend our 1st Anniversary at one of our fav. places: Seaside.  This place is perfect, to the point that the Truman show was filmed here.  We ate some great food (awesome queso), hit up the outlets and got some great steals, and lounged around on the beach.  Chris got to fish both mornings, although nothing was biting.  A nice little get away.  A huge  thank you to grandma and grandpa Geib for hanging out with little Coop while we were gone.  Coop was happy because he got to eat his weight in yogurt (one of his favs).

Here are the Halloween Pics as promised.  The camera was having issues, so it took a little longer then I had hoped for.  Cooper participated in multiple activities, some he loved, some he could have cared less.  The parade at school was his least fav. and he was the only one in his class who refused to walk the route, instead opting for mommy to carry him.  He liked trick-or-treating at the Red Cross.  He also loved playing around at Aunt Karen’s Halloween party.  We went to a few houses and then Coop spent the night handing out candy with daddy.  I don’t know if it was the candy (although he only had a few bites) or what, but he would NOT go to sleep.  I ended up coming home and he screamed until at least 2.  Too much fun for one day I guess.
